A varied showcase played by the distinguished organist of Paisley Abbey on an organ by the famous builder, ‘Father’ Willis. He begins and ends with British composers: Britten’s only organ work and pieces by the once admired, then much neglected Hubert Parry. In between, J S Bach and a concerto by his cousin J G Walther, a Passacaglia by Buxtehude - the master Bach walked many miles to hear - and works from the final years of Franck and Mozart.

Tickets: £7.50 (£6)
