Summer Music at Haddo House is promoted by Music-Makers, a registered Scottish Charity No. SC023220, in association with Haddo House. We receive no core funding and rely heavily on sponsorships, grants and charitable donations to fulfil our aims.

A special thanks to Maggie & Bill Williams for the generous loan and refurbishment of their piano, without which the 2008 festival could not have taken place. Thanks also to Martin Naef and the Digital Design Studio of the Glasgow School of Art for the loan of film projection equipment.

You, too, can get involved and play a part in ensuring its continuation. Here are some suggestions:

  • Offer us your ideas, professional expertise, or practical assistance (see Friends).

  • Make a donation. Remember, all donations by UK taxpayers are eligible for Gift Aid, thus increasing the value by 28%. All donations should be made payable to ‘Music-Makers’. Our bankers are CAF Bank (the Charities Aid Foundation bank) and details of our account can be supplied on request.

  • Sponsor an event – A special opportunity to entertain your company’s guests at high-quality events in a unique setting, perfect for a summer’s evening. An excellent way to raise your company’s profile in the area. Our ‘shopping list’ ranges from £500 to £3,000 and we can tailor a package to suit your company’s requirements.

  • Sponsor-in-kind – A festival has many practical requirements and sponsorship-in-kind can help to defray our costs. Perhaps you can offer car hire or accommodation for our artists, reception wine, distribute leaflets, or some other service.
